the Spyderco Delica 4 Emerson Knife features a modified drop point blade made of VG10 stainless steel. The blade has a notched thumb ramp and a Wave for ambidextrous one hand opening and for open on withdrawal. The dark gray fiberglass reinforced nylon handle has a Volcano Grip texture and a Boye dent lockback. A side to side and end to end reversible black metal pocket clip is included.

The Emerson opening feature is a hook curving out the top of the knife's blade. When removing the knife from a front pocket it catches the pocket's edge quickly opening the knife blade ready to use. The knife can also be taken out of the pocket without engaging the opening feature by pulling it straight up and out with your fingers on top of the closed blade.
